This series consists of pastoral lease number cards for the Southern part of the Northern Territory and labelled Central. The cards record district, address of holder, of mortgagee, block number, offered under gazette of, nature of transfer, applicant and transferees, date of transfer, registered no. of transfer, application with date received, area applied for date dealt with, result, term of lease, document of lease, executed, registered, factors necessitating adjustment as granted, date takes effect, area, annual rent and remarks. The reverse of the card records rates of annual rental payable by in each year, to (date) amount, then have year, amount due, payment made with rent, penalty, receipt number and remarks. Pastoral lease numbers have Central with Alice Springs or Barkly Tableland stamped or written on them after the number.
